Wincanton Secure Howdens Joinery Contract

One of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of kitchen and joinery products, Howdens Joinery, has appointed Wincanton as its logistics partner following a strategic review of its supply chain.

Wincanton secured the contract following a competitive tender and will operate and manage three of Howdens’ UK transport sites in Glasgow, Avonmouth and Radlett, as well as associated activities, for the next three years.

It will ensure Howdens' goods reach its 577 depots across the UK using a fleet of between 35 and 60 vehicles, depending on seasonal demand.
