Malcolm Group Order More 50ft Container Trailers

Malcolm Group has significantly increased its order of 50ft skeletal trailers from SDC by an additional 80 units.

Malcolm Group had placed an order for 40 units when they were unveiled earlier in the year. The extended container, which is easily swapable between the trailer and Malcolm’s rail services, can carry 15% more freight (equivalent to four pallet loads) than a standard sized trailer.

SDC have now revealed, however, that Malcolm Group has increased their order to 120 trailers.
