Bulk haulage transport company Walter Carefoot & Sons (Transport) Ltd has extended its fleet with the delivery of fourteen new Tipping trailers.
The family run business offers a high quality
transport service, specialising in the
movement of agricultural and aggregate products throughout Mainland UK and into
Europe. The new trailers have been built by SDC to Carefoot’s specification
including on-board weighing systems and reversing cameras.
Operations Manager Rob Dean
said “I am delighted to announce the new addition to our fleet. We have a large
number of vehicles and an on-going replacement programme allows us to provide
the standard of service expected by our customer base. We have chosen SDC
trailers over the years for the quality, reliability and longevity of their
tippers.”
The new trailers will be split between the TASCC side of the
fleet carrying aggregates, grain and animal feeds, and non-TASCC general
hauling including aggregates, glass and compost. The Euro 5 compliant vehicles feature
the distinctive yellow cab and brown trailer with Carefoot Logo prominently
displayed. The company ensure that their fleet is strictly maintained in order
to comply with road transport safety regulations, DVSA and Health and Safety
requirements.

Tipping Bodywork has gained widespread recognition for its quality and
reliability. SDC incorporate high
tensile steels and high grade alloy sheeting to provide exceptional strength,
durability and low weight in their Tipping trailers. The
company offer a range of alloy rigid tipping bodywork including ‘Ultralite
Insulated’ for asphalt and Barber
Green use, ‘Ultralite’ for
aggregate and general quarry use, and ‘Bulkalite’
for heavy duty and high volume applications.
