Carefoot Add 14 New SDC Plank Sided Tipping Trailers To Their Fleet

Bulk haulage transport company Walter Carefoot & Sons (Transport) Ltd has extended its fleet with the delivery of fourteen new Tipping trailers.

The family run business offers a high quality transport service, specialising in the movement of agricultural and aggregate products throughout Mainland UK and into Europe. The new trailers have been built by SDC to Carefoot’s specification including on-board weighing systems and reversing cameras.

Operations Manager Rob Dean said “I am delighted to announce the new addition to our fleet. We have a large number of vehicles and an on-going replacement programme allows us to provide the standard of service expected by our customer base. We have chosen SDC trailers over the years for the quality, reliability and longevity of their tippers.”

The new trailers will be split between the TASCC side of the fleet carrying aggregates, grain and animal feeds, and non-TASCC general hauling including aggregates, glass and compost. The Euro 5 compliant vehicles feature the distinctive yellow cab and brown trailer with Carefoot Logo prominently displayed. The company ensure that their fleet is strictly maintained in order to comply with road transport safety regulations, DVSA and Health and Safety requirements.

SDC’s range of Tipping Trailers and Rigid Tipping Bodywork has gained widespread recognition for its quality and reliability. SDC incorporate high tensile steels and high grade alloy sheeting to provide exceptional strength, durability and low weight in their Tipping trailers. The company offer a range of alloy rigid tipping bodywork including ‘Ultralite Insulated’ for asphalt and Barber Green use, ‘Ultralite’ for aggregate and general quarry use, and ‘Bulkalite’ for heavy duty and high volume applications.
