Fuel Thieves Target Northamptonshire Hauliers

 

Northamptonshire Police are urging truck operators to ensure their vehicles are parked securely overnight in a well-lit area after there were a number of un-named operators involved in fuel thefts last week.

According to reports, three different operators were hit by thieves within less than 24 hours, and hauliers are being urged to stay on guard in the county.

The fuel was siphoned in large quantities from the parked up vehicles in the yards the thieves had broken in to.
