Stockholm (dpa) - Swedish truckmaker Scania said Tuesday it had signed a deal to deliver 1,000 trucks to British-based groups Eddie Stobart and A W Jenkinson Forest Products.
The trucks were scheduled to be delivered from next month until December 2013, including 300 trucks this year, Scania said.
Scania was also to provide back-up services. The company, which is part of the Volkswagen group, was not announcing the value of the deal in line with its policy, a spokesman told dpa.
The two British companies in 2010 signed a similar deal.
